He is an economics commentator for Minnesota Public Radio, as well as host of its series Conversations on the Creative Economy and also a contributor at Marketplace. Farrell is a columnist for PBS Next Avenue and the Star Tribune, and has written for Bloomberg Businessweek, the New York Times, and Kiplinger’s.
