Ever wonder what your Facebook status updates say about you? Wonder no more! Science is here to reveal all—and some of it may not be pretty.

That’s right, psychologists studied the Facebook status updates of over 500 people, as well as their answers to survey questions. The study and online surveys “measured aspects of their character such as extroversion, neuroticism, openness, agreeableness and conscientiousness—as well as self-esteem and narcissism.”

Some of the findings won’t surprise you at all if you’re a regular Facebook user. You’ll no doubt recognize many of your friends, relatives and colleagues in the results. But will you recognize yourself? (Originally shared on Inc. com)
